Angesichts der vatikanischen Broschüre „Fiducia supplicans“, die durch einen sophistischen Winkelzug die außerliturgische Möglichkeit propagiert, „Paare in irregulären Situationen und gleichgeschlechtliche Paare segnen zu können“, erklären wir Folgendes:
1. Die von Gott gesegnete Schöpfungsordnung für den Menschen besagt: „Als Mann und Frau erschaffen, hat er sie in der Ehe zu einer innigen Gemeinschaft des Lebens und der gegenseitigen Liebe berufen“ (Kompendium des Katechismus der Katholischen Kirche (KKKK) 337). „Die eheliche Vereinigung von Mann und Frau, die durch den Schöpfer grundgelegt und mit eigenen Gesetzen ausgestattet wurde, ist von Natur aus auf die Gemeinschaft und das Wohl der Ehegatten sowie auf die Zeugung und Erziehung von Kindern hingeordnet“ (KKKK 338).
2. Der Euphemismus „Paare in irregulären Situationen“ bezieht sich auf sexuelle Verbindungen außerhalb der vor Gott gültigen Ehe. Solche Handlungen stellen als schwere Sünde einen massiven Akt gegen das sechste Gebot dar und verunreinigen den Menschen zutiefst.
3. Gestützt auf die eindeutige biblische Botschaft, hat das beständige Lehramt der Katholischen Kirche stets erklärt, dass homosexuelle Praktiken zu den gravierenden Sünden gehören, die immens gegen die Keuschheit verstoßen (vgl. KKK 2396) und von der Heiligen Schrift vehement zurückgewiesen werden (vgl. Gen 19,1–29; Lev 18,22; Röm 1,24–27; 1 Kor 6,9–10; 1 Tim 1,10). Der Katechismus erinnert uns an die „himmelschreiende“ Dimension der Schuld der Sodomiten (vgl. KKK 1867).
4. Die hl. Kirchenlehrerin Katharina von Siena bezeugt in ihrem berühmten Werk Gespräch von Gottes Vorsehung, wie sehr der Herr die homosexuellen Handlungen verurteilt: „Die Elenden vollbringen noch Schlimmeres und begehen die verfluchte Sünde wider die Natur. Und wie blinde Toren, deren Vernunft getrübt ist, nehmen sie die Fäulnis und das Elend nicht wahr, worin sie stecken. Nicht nur Mir, der Ich höchste ewige Reinheit bin, ist sie zum Ekel (ja so verabscheuungswürdig, dass Ich um dieser einen Sünde willen fünf Städte durch Mein göttliches Gericht vernichtete, da Meine Gerechtigkeit sie nicht mehr ertragen wollte), sondern sogar den Dämonen.“[1]
5. Einen Widerspruch zwischen Lehre und Pastoral kann es im katholischen Glauben nicht geben. Wirkliche Barmherzigkeit ist immer mit der Wahrheit verbunden. Sie bestätigt den Menschen nicht heuchlerisch in seiner schuldigen Situation, sondern versucht, ihn um des ewigen Heiles willen zur Umkehr zu leiten – aus dem Tod der Sünde zum Leben der Gnade.
6. Sünde kann nicht gesegnet werden – das wäre ein Missbrauch des heiligsten Namens Gottes.
Wir werden daher niemals blasphemische Segnungen vollziehen, die im krassen Widerspruch zur Schöpfungsordnung und zur göttlichen Offenbarung stehen.

Sin cannot be blessed
In view of the Vatican’s brochure “Fiducia supplicans”, which, by a sophistical maneuver, propagates the extra-liturgical possibility “of blessing couples in irregular situations and same-sex couples”, we declare the following:
1. The order of creation blessed by God for man says: “By creating man and woman he called them to an intimate communion of life and of love in marriage” (Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCCC) 337). “The marital union of man and woman, which is founded and endowed with its own proper laws by the Creator, is by its very nature ordered to the communion and good of the couple and to the generation and education of children” (CCCC 338).
2. The euphemism “couples in irregular situations” refers to sexual unions outside of marriage valid before God. As a grave sin, such acts constitute a serious act against the Sixth Commandment and profoundly defile the human being.
3. Based on the clear biblical message, the constant Magisterium of the Catholic Church has always declared that homosexual practices are among the grave sins that immensely violate chastity (cf. CCC 2396) and are vehemently rejected by Sacred Scripture (cf. Gen 19:1-29; Lev 18:22; Rom 1:24-27; 1 Cor 6:9-10; 1 Tim 1:10). The Catechism reminds us that the guilt of the Sodomites is a sin that “cries to heaven” (cf. CCC 1867).
4. In her famous work A Conversation with God on Living Your Spiritual Life to the Fullest, St. Catherine of Siena testifies to the extent to which the Lord condemns homosexual acts: “The wretched do even worse things and commit the accursed sin against nature. And like blind fools whose reason is clouded, they do not realize the rottenness and misery in which they are mired. It is disgusting not only to Me, Who am supreme eternal purity (indeed, so disgusting that I destroyed five cities by My divine judgment for the sake of this one sin, because My justice would no longer endure it), but even to the demons.”[1]
5. There can be no contradiction between doctrine and pastoral care in the Catholic faith. Real mercy is always linked to the truth. It does not hypocritically confirm people in their guilty situation, but tries to lead them to repentance for the sake of eternal salvation – from the death of sin to the life of grace.
6. Sin cannot be blessed – that would be a misuse of God’s most holy name. We will therefore never perform blasphemous blessings that are in blatant contradiction to the order of creation and divine revelation.
